The Process
This review moves through four stages. Each stage is defined by the work that gets done, and will be updated as we reach that part of the project. When a stage is finished, the next one begins.

Stage 1: Listening & Groundwork
CompleteGetting up to speed on what already exists and hearing from the community first.

- Review past studies and plansRead what the city and the CRA have already written about these areas.
- Map the areas under considerationPut the areas being looked at onto a shared map.
- Meet the community for the first timeIntroduce the review and answer early questions.
- Gather initial inputWrite down what residents and business owners say matters most.

Stage 2: Fieldwork & Data
In ProgressWalking the areas, writing down what we see, and putting together boundary options.
This stage is expected to take a few months.
- Visit sites in personWalk and drive the areas to see them firsthand.
- Document current conditionsTake notes and photos of streets, buildings, and public spaces.
- Gather property and neighborhood dataPull together public records about land, buildings, and use.
- Draft boundary optionsSketch out possible ways the boundary could change, or stay the same.
